Delivering Rose
With the help of Baptist Global Response’s Hospice Bucket program, Community Leaders and Home Health workers James and Eunice partner together with Rose, an HIV-positive woman and AIDs awareness instructor, to encourage and minister to the newly diagnosed members of their community and surrounding towns. This is the first of a series of projects produced for BGR to help tell the stories of how the Hospice Buckets are helping bring hope in sub-Saharan Africa.

Reaching Turkana refugees in Maralal, Kenya
Rose is a Turkana woman living in Maralal, Kenya and was diagnosed with HIV/Aids and received a BGR Hospice bucket from BGR Partners in Maralal. The vitiamins with HIV medication helped improve her health and she now passionately educates people about HIV prevention as well as living with HIV/Aids in her community. We spent much of the day talking to Rose, and then following her around to talk to other HIV positive people who also have received buckets. She loves encouraging other people! This is one of the exciting stories of hope that we are currently working on in Kenya.
Finding Hope in Samburu, Kenya
After an 8 hour drive from Nairobi to Samburu Kenya, we settled in rested, and Sunday morning went out to witness a baptism, and visit several HIV/Aids patients who recently received Buckets from BGR. They shared how the contents had helped their situations, and also learned from their caregivers what a big help it had been. These people had such strong hopeful smiles, even in the face of death. Please visit http://gobgr.org for more information on how you can get involved with the bucket project!
On Assignment with BGR
We’ve been doing some media related work with Baptist Global Response for the past year, specifically with the Bucket Project. As it has grown to many states with the USA, there’s been a big need to show the people helping; the people being helped, and hear their powerful stories. We will be in several African countries, working with BGR partners, following them into remote areas delivering hope, in the form of a simple bucket with some supplies to help the dying and the ones caring for them. Through the aid of interpreters, we’ll record some of the stories of hope, and the changes experienced through the buckets.

Deep from the Heart of Texas
A look at the roots of BGR’s Hospice Kit bucket project. BGR visited Franklin and Paula Kilpatrick who head up the Bucket Project for the state of Texas during one of their church’s many large scale packing parties. This particular occasion they were filling a container with 750 buckets heading to Kenya. For more information, visit gobgr.org/buckets

Mozambique Express
We have been blessed to be a part of promoting the work of Baptist Global Response’s
Bucket Project over the past year. We started with an instructional video on how to pack the buckets, and went to Kansas City to document one church’s efforts to fill an emergency order going to Mozambique. Watch the newest story on Raytown Baptist Church’s Challenge!
We then traveled to Houston, TX to document another church filling a container to go to East Africa, and are working on that story now. We hope to continue telling the stories not only of whats taking place overseas in third world countries; but in the stats as well, as members of local churches are joining together, making a difference, one bucket at a time!

CTAE Promotional PSA
We have been hard at work for the past several months on a project for the CSRA RESA Consortium, a group of 8 school districts located in and around the CRSA (Augusta, Ga) areas. This PSA began running the end of May 2013 and is being used to promote CTAE (Career Technical and Agricultural Education)
In addition, separate DVDs are being produced for each school (there are actually 13 schools receiving DVDs). These DVDs will be used to help promote CTAE and give upcoming freshmen a better idea of what they can sign up for in the upcoming school year.
Burke Co CTAE Promotional Film
